TATTOO AFTERCARE
Wash your hands with an antibacterial soap
Wash your tattoo in small circular motions with the same soap
Thouroughly rinse your tattoo
Pat dry with a clean paper towel
Let air dry for 10 minutes
Apply a thin even coat of Aquatat/Aquaphor (LESS IS BETTER)
If it’s shiny, dab with a paper towel
Do this 2 times a day, for the first 4 days
Day 4-6 the tattoo with start to itch and flake, do not pick or scratch, just give a gentle slap
At this time, switch from Aquatat to an unscented hand lotion
DO NOT submerge your tattoo, NO pools, baths, hot tubs or lakes for 2 weeks
If you have pets and they sleep with you, change your bedding and don’t let them back in bed for 1 week
After your tattoo is healed, it is important to use sunblock when you are outside

PIERCING AFTERCARE
DO'S
Wash your hands before touching
Clean 2 times per day by spraying with H2Ocean or Saline Solution, let soak for 1-2 minutes
Use a dry Q-tip to clean crusty’s off of all sides of piercing
During 1 of the cleanings make sure balls/tops are tightened
Leave alone other than cleaning
Rinse all contaminates off as last step in shower, i.e. shampoo, conditioner, soap

DONT'S
Do not touch your new piercing with dirty hands
Do not use Neosporin, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or any other cleaners/wound care not listed
Do not take your jewelry out for any reason during the healing process
Do not change your jewelry during the healing process
Tongue and Mouth Piercings
Clean inside of mouth with an alcohol free mouthwash after meals and other contaminants, such as smoking and drinking.
Do not eat or drink temperature hot or spicy hot foods/beverages for the first 3-5 days
Surface Piercings/Dermals
- Wear a circular band aid for compression at night time for the first week or two. This will help it set itself and help prevent it from getting snagged while you sleep
Genitals
If you have a new genital piercing, please use protection if you are not going to refrain from sex. New piercings are an open wound and can assist in spreading sexually transmitted diseases and infections.
If you are having uncomfortable swelling, use an anti-inflammatory such as Advil by following the directed dosage on the packaging.
